Carol ...such a powerful message in a very confused hurting world.  God bless you!
 Love Jennifer

Just wanted to tell you I appreciated what you said in Friday's column.  It distresses me to see that this nation and particularly our young people are so caught up in those things which really don't matter.  "Celebrities" are really ordinary people and usually not ones of notable or  admirable character but then I guess we as a nation define what a "celebrity" is. Good word.     P H Bolin

I read your book from cover to cover when I first received it during the storm. You have blessed my life. I respect and appreciate you beyond words I am capable of writing. God bless always. Your friend and brother in Christ,

Stephen

It was very refreshing to see your wonderful word in the "Matter of Faith" recently.  Because I tore the article from the paper to capture your e-mail, I can not even remember the newspaper it came from. Anyway, the article caught my attention for two reasons: First, as a father of three young boys, I have selected three Family Core Values by which to lead my family.  One of these values is "Obedience." And the scripture passage is Eccl 12:13-14.  My 9, 6, and 4 year olds know
this verse as obedience to God is something that we believe in strongly. Secondly, I am a Field Director for Crown Financial Ministries.  Crown is a ministry that equips people to teach biblical financial principles.  Among the biblical financial principles is the issues of Honesty and Integrity in all things, and that includes financial dealings. So thanks for modeling this value for our community.  We sure need it.

Sincerely,
Jeff Anderson

I look forward to reading your column each Friday in the Ardmore newspaper. I appreciate you. Keep up the good work. Molly Ann Cypert

I felt compelled to write and tell you what a blessing I receive from you column in the Claremore Progress.  No matter what the subject matter, I find a blessing in it. Thank you for your obedience to your heavenly Father to share a part of yourself with "we" the public.Whenever words are put on paper, one opens themselves up to the eyes of the world to be loved or criticized. My opinion...........I love reading your column. Thank you.

In a word: WOW!  I think I have shared with you that, of my varied responsibilities, I consider myself first and foremost an essayist. As an award-winning columnist and editorialist, I tell others the best advice I can give them is to bare their souls and pour themselves onto the page. Without question, you have done so in an eloquent and warming fashion regarding your relationship with your mother. I stand to applaud you.  Shalom.

Wow! What childhood memories that brought back to me. I had Vicks rubbed on my chest and in the humidifier. And I think the column will bring childhood memories to everyone who reads it. Your columns are always genuine, from real, personal experiences. I'm not sure I could do that. Especially the part about your mother in the nursing home. But that will really get people to stop and think about how to treat our parents in return for all they've done for us. If you can't tell, I liked it!  Amy Walsh

...and thank you, Carol for the inspirational articles published in the paper.  You are gifted by God.
Blessings,
Dr.  Ray Crawford, pastor Claremore FUMC

Wanted to let you know I read your column every Friday. Today was especially touching...it revealed your heart.  I too, have an intimate relationship with our JESUS!  He truly is the wind beneath my wings and the Spirit of life in my heart!  God Bless...

Psalm 25:4.           June Purdom

I just read your column in the November 9, 2006 Tulsa Front Page and I wanted to thank you for conveying such beautiful thoughts, feelings
and ideas. How lovely that a newspaper makes us better people instead of knocking down those who have already fallen. Your words are appreciated and your authenticity profound.
Keep sharing your conversations with God with us. Thankfully, Cheryl LaFortune

I read your column every Friday in our newspaper and I love them. They always relate to me in one way or another.  Ceanne Brunk

"Your writing style reminds me of Ruth Bell Graham, and how she could write about God in the everyday events of life, and have so much insight. I pray you will continue to write and be a blessing to others."
